However, if this turns into a long term coaching gig, these players might be traded in order to acquire more talent. This is looking too far into the future, but all of these are possibilities. It will be interesting to see how Kobe responds to the media about the hiring of Mike Brown. I am sure that he will give Brown his full respect, but he must be surprised by the hiring.
